Meet the Owners

Dr. Terri Fedderke

Terri grew up in Milan, Ohio. She attended The Ohio State University and received both a Bachelor of Science in Animal Nutrition in 1991 and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1995.

Upon graduation from The Ohio State University, Terri joined the Napoleon Veterinary Clinic in Napoleon, Ohio. Special interests for Terri include pet dentistry and oral surgery, animal behavior and exotics.

Terri shares her home with her husband Todd and sons Camren & Collin and daughter Caroline. Rounding out their family are dogs Timber, Dakota and Brutus, as well as two cats named Blackie and CeCe.

In her free time, Terri does like to travel back to Ohio State to cheer on the Buckeyes. She also likes to play sports and go shopping.

Dr. Greg Edwards

Greg was born in Kendallville, Indiana and grew up on a farm near Avilla, Indiana. He attended Purdue University. He received a B.S. in Animal Sciences in 1977 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1981.

Greg joined Dr. Doug Burgei at Napoleon Veterinary Clinic in Napoleon, Ohio. He continued in mixed practice with emphasis in food animals, specifically dairy.

In 2008 Greg left private practice and joined Pfizer Animal Health as a Technical Service Veterinarian for Dairy.

Greg resides in Napoleon, Ohio with his wife Joy. They have 3 daughters and 2 grandchildren.

Greg has been active in the community serving 4-H and United Way among other things. He was a founding member of the Henry County Humane Society. He is a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He also serves on the Board of Directors of German Mutual Insurance Company.

Greg’s hobbies include spending time with family, fishing and being outdoors.

Gretchen Meienburg – RVT, CKO

Gretchen received a degree in Veterinary Technology from Morehead State University and a B.S. in Biology from Indiana University/ Purdue University.

Gretchen has worked in the Pet Care Industry for 22 years and currently serves as Vice President of Pet Care Services Association (PCSA). She also serves as the Chair person for PCSA ethics committee and VFA committee.

Gretchen Shares her home with husband Brent. Gretchen and Brent have a son Derek and twins Brock and Britney. Four legged family members include a black lab, Princess and Calico cat Butter.

In her free time Gretchen enjoys spending time with her family in many outdoor activities and training for Triathlons.

Dr. Doug Burgei

Doug is originally from Rome City, Indiana. He attended Purdue University and graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree. Doug has completed over 32 years of practice at the Napoleon Veterinary Clinic.

Doug works in all aspects of veterinary medicine within the practice. His special interest is in surgery with recent continuing education emphasis in this area. He enjoys surgery in general, which he finds very rewarding.

Doug resides in Napoleon Ohio with wife Christy. They have three children and three grandchildren. Doug and Christy current share their home with a Shih-Tzu named Chewbacca and a Golden Retriever named Stella.

Outside interests for Doug include SCUBA diving, yard work with perennial flowers and broad involvement in community service. Much of his time is spent working with Henry County Community Foundation and serving as chairman of Henry County 4-H Endowment Committee. Doug is also on the Board of Directors of First Federal Bank of the Midwest

Pet Care Services Association (PCSA)
Pet Care Services Association members offer a variety of services to pet owners including boarding, dog daycare, grooming, animal training, pet supply sales and shipping.

We’re accredited!

The Voluntary Facilities Accreditation (VFA) program provides pet care facilities the opportunity to demonstrate their compliance to a comprehensive set of industry established standards and earn accreditation from the Pet Care Services Association. The program contains over 250 standards in 17 separate areas of pet care facility operations, management, and customer service. Developed by the Pet Care Services Association, formerly ABKA, the standards reflect the views of facility operators, veterinarians, pet owners and humane organizations representing the "state of the art" in animal care and management.
